Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, claims that no politician in Nigeria has ever given him gifts or favours.
Wike declared in 2021 that he would gift Burna Boy a parcel of land and cash in recognition of his Grammy Award achievement.
This happened after Rivers State hosted a homecoming celebration for Burna Boy following his record ‘Twice as Tall’ winning the Best Global Music record category.
Burna Boy indicated in a message on his X account on Thursday afternoon that Rivers State ex-Governor Nyesom Wike failed to fulfill his promise of property and cash after he won the Grammy award.
However, Burna Boy, in his X post, said: “No politician has ever given anything. Go ask wike where the land him give me or which money him give me. You think I’m your faves.”
