Burna Boy Ventured into The Movie Industry, Sets to Produce His First Movie

Burna Boy, the renowned Nigerian Afrobeat star, has expanded his horizons by venturing into the film industry as an executive producer.

His debut production, titled “3 Cold Dishes,” is a thrilling movie that he is co-producing with Ifind, Alma Productions, Asurf Films, Martian Network, and Black Mic Mac.

This production company has a specific focus on showcasing the immense talent from Africa and the Middle East.

Burna Boy will oversee the production of the film through his own production firm, Spaceship Films, which he established in 2015 alongside his mother, Bose Ogulu.

The movie is being directed by Asurf Oluseyi, who previously won the prestigious African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA) for Best Short Film with “A Day with Death” in 2016.

Oluseyi has described “3 Cold Dishes” as a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, promising an African cinematic journey like no other.

The movie boasts an impressive cast of top Nollywood actors, including Osas Ighodaro, Wale Ojo, Femi Jacobs, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards, and Greg Ojefua.

Additionally, it features talented actors from Ivory Coast and Senegal, adding further diversity to the film’s ensemble.
