Amani Bertin, the car dealer for Grammy singer Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has subtly confirmed his reunion with ex-girlfriend Stefflon Don.
Stefflon Don, a Jamaican-born UK singer, sparked rumors of a rekindled relationship with Burna Boy a few days ago when she showed off the lavish birthday gifts she received.
Stefflon was taken aback when clips of her birthday gift arrived at her London home, and reports circulated that the new whip was a gift from Burna Boy.
The car appears to be a hint that the couple is about to reunite, as Burna Boy spent over $200 million on the gift.
Now, his car dealer has confirmed it via his Instagram story, while sharing a clip of Stefflon Don told netizens that there is no need for an explanation, rather they should just believe.
“Don’t explain just believe @burnaboygram”.
Refreshing your memory, Burna Boy and Stefflon Don started dating in 2019 and went back and forth with their relationship before calling off things in 2021, after he was accused of cheating on her, with a lady, Jo Pearl.
Jo Pearl alleged that she dated the Afrobeats star for two years and narrated how their romance began.
Stefflon, in an interview, claimed that she broke up with Burna because he couldn’t satisfy her in bed. She also threw more shades at him, calling him a Mummy’s boy.
The UK artist remarked that Burna Boy is not a man but a Mummy’s boy, which he did not find funny and responded to her by telling her to go on. Stefflon said that if he didn’t confront her straight, she wouldn’t respect him.
She went on to mock him by referring to him with a feminine gender.
Burna Boy, distraught at his breakup with her, released ‘Last Last,’ which many assumed was meant at Stefflon Don.
Stefflon also released her song named ‘First Of All’ on YouTube, which she indicated in a tweet was her version of the tale. In the song, she tells the general people to mind their own business.
She declined to discuss their split in an interview, citing how she had been with the artist for two and a half years.
