Days following Burna Boy’s donation of N50 million to Bethel, who is allegedly the brother of Cubana Chiefpriest, a young man claiming to be Burna Boy’s brother has become popular online.
Several videos and pictures have appeared of Nigerians asserting they are related to either Burna Boy or Cubana Chiefpriest in the midst of their financial dispute.
In a TikTok video, a young man, thought to be Burna Boy’s cousin, alleged that the singer has neglected his family in Port Harcourt.
He claimed that Burna Boy chose to assist an outsider instead of his relatives to prove he is superior to Cubana Chiefpriest. The man added that when he asked for help with his business, Burna Boy advised him to hustle.
According to the man, Burna Boy has not given any money to his family, noting that only his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, occasionally come to hand out cash.
He also asserted that Burna Boy couldn’t get him arrested since it’s a family matter, and it will be taken care of soon.
“You have never given we your family members money before, it’s only your mom that comes around and share some money for us sometimes,” Burna Boy’s alleged cousin said in the viral video.
