Ohene Phara, a businessman in Ghana’s real estate sector, has created a sensation by marrying his 2-year girlfriend, Awurama, after an 11-year relationship with his children’s mother, Serwaa Prikels.
Phara, who is well-known in the real estate market, performed a low-key wedding ceremony that drew notice from local blogs and media sites.
Phara was purportedly enraged by this unexpected exposure, prompting him to accuse his ex-girlfriend Serwaa of coordinating the propagation of false allegations via paid bloggers.
The CEO took to Snapchat to express his displeasure with the supposed misunderstanding of facts.
Phara freely explained his reasons for choosing Awurama over his long-term partner just one day after his wedding.
He said that he had known about Serwaa’s alleged relationships with married men for seven years but had kept the knowledge quiet out of worry for their shared daughter and a desire to avoid public turmoil.
Phara’s Snapchat posts exhibited a number of emotions, with him directly addressing Serwaa. He expressed his displeasure with her activities and accused her of attempting to gain attention by spreading stories.
Serwaa was also accused of hypocrisy, pointing out that she had extramarital encounters while expecting him to marry her.
He also intimated that if she continued to annoy him, he might release additional damaging information.
While Phara acknowledged that he had chosen to keep his feelings and knowledge quiet in the past, he asserted that he had reached a point where he could no longer tolerate the situation.
He warned Serwaa against pursuing further drama and threatened to expose her actions to the entire nation if provoked.
