Businesswoman Accuses Tinubu’s Minister Of Withholding ₦200 Million Payment Over Rejected Advances

  • A Nigerian businesswoman claims a minister in President Bola Tinubu’s administration owes her ₦200 million for campaign gifts from 2014.
  • She alleges the minister withheld payment after she rejected his request for intimacy.
  • The accusation gained attention on social media, particularly on X.
  • A Nigerian businesswoman has taken to social media to accuse a minister in President Bola Tinubu’s administration of refusing to pay her ₦200 million for campaign gifts supplied in 2014. According to her, the minister’s decision to withhold payment was due to her refusal to accept his alleged request for intimacy.

The allegation was highlighted by a well-known news platform on X (formerly Twitter), which reported that the minister deliberately denied her payment after she turned down his advances.

In support of her claim, two videos were shared showing the woman’s emotional appeal for justice. In the footage, she asserts that the money is rightfully hers, emphasizing that she has financial obligations and will not stop fighting for what she is owed.

Addressing the minister directly, she said:

“Engineer David Umahi, you know I am not lying. Your wife, children, and workers know I am not lying. Please.”

“I know you have power, money, and a government that could lock me up, but tell Nigerians why you’ve withheld my business capital for three years.”

“I am willing to die for this. Give me my money. I am a mother with children. I see your son flying private jets—the money he spends is enough to pay me. My children’s bills need to be paid. I need my payment.”

Her emotional statement has led to a significant reaction, as social media users have crowded the comment section to voice their thoughts on the situation.

    See some reactions below:

@freeminderco: “I think I have issues with this sort of situation. Firstly, approach court. Take your evidence there and if you did not get justice then come online and present your case with evidence. You can’t just rant online without any form of evidence to support your claim.’

@Lexyzdoo: “You’re calling on the wrong person to help on this. He will declare arrest of emergency on your head now.”

@KennyNuga: “David Umahi was contesting for the position of Governor under the PDP in 2014, so President BAT has no involvement in this matter.”

@samwellsg: “This woman has been talking about this for a long time, I saw her about a year ago rant about the same issue. Still they refused to pay her.”

@SaintNwa: “Evidence please , even if na the test message.”
