Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem chastised Rema for paying tribute to his deceased younger colleague Mohbad.
Rema allegedly suffered criticism after publishing a screenshot of the message he received from the deceased musician.
Rema, who is mourning for Mohbad, admitted that he ignored the late singer’s 2020 Instagram post in which he professed affection for his song “Peace of Mind.”
It’s too late to answer now, he said, adding that he didn’t read the note till Mohbad died.
Didi Ekanem chastised him for ignoring Mohbad’s direct messages but not those of Selena Gomez, an American singer and actress.
She thanked him, sarcastically remarking, “He did well.”
