Residents of Airport road, Makera estate in Katsina State, woke to see the body of a thief dangling at same spot his colleague who trying to vandalize a transformer, died in after getting electrocuted.
The thief was reportedly trying to vandalize the transformer, when he got electrocuted after power was restored around 3:25a.m. It was gathered that the thief’s partner in crime, met his own end on the 30th of August, 2018, around the same time in the same estate.
Recall that we reported months ago, that a yet to be identified transformer vandal, was reportedly electrocuted to death in Katsina State while attempting to steal transformer parts. The transformer vandal whose corpse was found near a transformer at Makera Housing estate located along Daura Road in the early hours of Thursday, August 30th, was wearing electric gloves and found with some electrician’s gadgets. His body was subsequently evacuated by men of the Katsina police command, who have launched an investigation into his death.
