“Can someone tell our mothers that nothing dey streets currently” – Vee tells mothers pressurizing their daughters into marriage

BBNaija star, Vee Iye has lamented about the constant pressure by Nigerian mothers for their daughters to get married.

In a recent Tweet, Vee shared that her mother constantly reminds her of how she was already married with a child at her age.

The singer pleaded for someone to please inform Nigerian mothers that there are currently no men on the streets.

In her words:

“My mum never fails to tell me that at my age, she was married with a child. Can someone tell our Nigerian mothers that nothing dey streets currently? The pressure is truly getting worse”
