A social media user has stirred controversy after he faulted celebrities for shunning singer, Yemi Alade despite her win.
The singer had won a Grammy certificate last night, April 3rd for featuring on Angelique Kidjo’s album, ‘Mother Nature’ which one a Grammy award.
Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi all featured on her award winning album and at such they earned a certificate of recognition from the Grammy for their impact on the album.
A twitter user had berated celebrities for not celebrating her achievement, he tweeted, “Can’t see any celebrity congratulating Yemi Alade on her Grammy win, Davido was right after all”.
His tweet set the internet on fire as many tackled him for mixing things up. Their defense was that Yemi Alade won a certificate and not an award.
