There was serious panic at the office of the Benue state governor on Monday afternoon when a car going into the office reportedly exploded.
Reports have it that the car was going into the office when it suddenly burst into flames as the people scampered for safety.
It took the intervention of the officers of the Fire Service to stop the inferno from wreaking more havoc as the occupants of the governor’s office had been thrown into confusion.
As at the time of filing this report, it was not sure if the governor was in the office or not as the explosion took the workers by storm.
It was also gathered that although the driver was successfully rescued from the explosion, the workers had been sent into a serious panic mode as they were said to have believes it was a terror attack on their place of work.
