Celine Dion has been scheduled to perform at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Despite having stiff-person syndrome, Canadian singer Celine Dion has been scheduled to play live at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Other singers, like Dua Lipa and Aya Nakamur, will play during the sporting event, which runs from July 26 to August 11, 2024.

These musicians will perform on the Olympic stage, continuing a tradition begun in the 20th century with the first performance in 1896.

In addition, Jin from BTS will serve as a torchbearer at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a historic first, the opening ceremony, directed by Thomas Jolly, will take place outside an Olympic stadium, with 600,000 people and 80 public screens.

Since its debut in 1968, the venue, which has a capacity of 1750, has hosted legendary acts such as Adele, Lady Gaga, and the Rolling Stones.

In other news, Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian artist, has replied after his mother accused him of neglecting her for more than a decade.

Shatta Wale emphasized that he is a wonderful person while clarifying what actually occurred.
