Canadian singer Celine Dion, who has won many awards, criticized former President Donald Trump.
She reacted after Trump played her song “My Heart Will Go On” at a rally without asking her first.
This famous song, from the 1997 movie about the Titanic, was played for his supporters before he took the stage at a campaign event in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday.
Recently, Dion’s management posted on X, clarifying that she didn’t “endorse” the use of the song.
They mentioned that both the singer and her team just found out about it.
“Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc, became aware of the unauthorised usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana,” the statement reads.
“In no way is this use authorised, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use… And really, THAT song?”
