Some South Africans have decided to poke fun at Nigeria’s Miss Universe beauty pageant.
They posted various pictures and videos online, claiming the event resembled a memorial service.
Some X users mentioned that it looked like a high school pageant or a local beauty contest.
Another user pointed out that Chidimma Adetshina, a contestant from Nigeria/South Africa, should have tried harder to enter South Africa’s Miss Universe competition.
The trolls also criticized the hall decoration, saying it looked worse than a daycare’s decor.
