During an emotional chat with Silverbird TV, she opened up about her reasons, stating that the experience was quite traumatic for her.

The ex-beauty queen shared that she chose to step away from the industry for personal reasons and to focus more on her life.
“People still don’t understand how I felt. There were times when I almost quit during the Miss Universe contest. I’m really done with pageantry. I want to focus on myself and establish who I am. And forward my education as well,” she added.
Chidimma’s choice follows several significant achievements, such as being named Miss Universe Africa and Oceania after her Miss Universe win.
