A thirty-year-old guy has admitted to having sex with a two-year-old daughter without permission. He blames alcohol for the offense.
On November 13, 2023, family members of the victim caught and turned up the culprit, named as Buguwa Kwaji, to the Adamawa State Police Command.
Living in the village of Aljannaru in the Song Local Government Area, Buguwa has admitted to defiling the kid, claiming he did it while intoxicated.
Speaking to journalists when he was paraded at the police headquarters, Buguwa said, “After drinking a gin known as Voltage on that fateful day, I lay down, and the little girl came and started playing on my body. So I raped her because I could not resist the urge for sex.”
The victim’s older sister allegedly caught him in the act and set off an alarm, which resulted in his arrest.
According to information acquired by PUNCH Online, the suspect recently got married to his extremely pregnant wife.
The arrest was confirmed by the Adamawa State Police Command spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje. He also mentioned that Afolabi Babatola, the Commissioner of Police, had given the CID instructions to look into the situation and make sure the culprit was brought to justice.
