Renowned Nigerian film actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly recognized as Aki, has issued a cautionary message to his fans and followers regarding the presence of scammers who are impersonating him online.
On Monday, he utilized his official Instagram account to share screenshots of a conversation and a contact that were falsely representing him.
In the revealed dialogue, the impersonator was attempting to mislead individuals by soliciting funds, asserting that they were unable to conduct transfers on their own.
Chinedu emphasized the importance of vigilance among his followers, advising them to always confirm the authenticity of any call or message they receive, particularly if it seems to originate from him. He stated:
