Churches Should Make DNA Test Compulsory before Child Dedication- Deji Adeyanju

Human rights activist Deji Adeyanju has opined that churches should normalise the DNA test of their children before coming for the child dedication ceremony.

According to Adeyanju, the only way churches can verify the paternity of the kids is to allow the couples to conduct a DNA test.

Taking to his Twitter page, he expressed his view on the current brouhaha between popular OAP, Nedu, and his ex-wife.

He tweeted, “Abegiii my correct brother. DNA is a must. Let us promote it as national policy. Churches should make it mandatory for child dedication.”

The issue of Nedu and his ex-wife started when she accused him of physical violence and being a wandering father during their marriage.

Nedu Wazobia also claimed that his ex-wife cheated on him multiple times, forcing him to do a DNA test on his children, which indicated that he is not the father of his first child.

He added that he has no issues whatsoever with her and will be ready to visit any court she summons him to. Taking to Instagram he wrote;

“My attention has been drawn to stories making the rounds on social media by my ex-wife (Uzoamaka Ohiri). While I am not one to trade issues on social media, it has become pertinent that I clear the air once and for all.

First of all I would like to state clearly that I do not support or encourage any form of domestic violence whether targeted at a woman or man. I have also never been one to physically violate any body including my ex-wife.

Our marriage was one plaqued with a lot of issues. One of which was continuous infidelity from her side that led to me conducting a paternity test on our kids which led to the revelation that our first son is not my biological son even though he was born within the period during which we were married.
