Nigerian comedian Mr. Hyenena, whose real name is Adebamiro Adeyanju, talked about his time working with Florence Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy.
During an interview with Echo Room, he surprised the interviewer by stating that he worked as her hypeman for about two years before being dismissed.
When discussing how they met, Hyenena mentioned that he attended the same Church as the Otedola family and had crossed paths with them often.
One day, he went up to DJ Cuppy and presented himself. Fortunately, she was impressed, and he began collaborating with her.
Eventually, DJ Cuppy, who had just been baptized, decided to focus on her DJ career and no longer carry him along.
He noted that he had asked his best friend to take his place for a time, but he called him back later.
Regardless, the comedian shared his sincere appreciation for the chance to work with such a nice family.
