Comedian Seyi Law reacts to viral video of him collecting a lady phone number in a public bus

Popular Nigerian comedian Seyi Law recently responded on social media to a video that went viral showing him collecting a lady’s phone number on a public bus.

The video has gone viral on social media platforms, and it depicts comedian Seyi Law sitting next to a lady having a conversation with her.

As they continued to converse, comedian Seyi Law went on to collect the lady’s phone number while the public bus continued to move them to their destination.

Note that Seyi Law, along with other celebrities such as Toyin Abraham, Eniola Badmus, and others, have received countless dragging’s online for supporting President Tinubu over Peter Obi and Atiku.

Reacting to the video of comedian Seyi Law collecting a lady phone number in a public bus, an X user identified as @TheSerahIbrahim wrote;

“Seyilaw @seyilaw1 I’m sure you are just taking her number so you can also be sending her the screenshots you send to Seyi Tinubu 😒.”

Responding to the accusation levelled against him, comedian Seyi Law stated in a tweet on his X page today, July 11th, 2024, that the lady from whom he collected her phone number was not just any random girl he met on a public bus.

Comedian Seyi Law identifies to the lady as Yetunde from the University of Lincoln and she came along with the University executives for their event in Nigeria.

Seyi Law stated that he was meant to attend the event but was unable to do so due to his show in Abuja. He went on to say that the lady is a friend of his friend named Mr Wisdom, who owns the record label that signed Nasboi.

The comedian concluded the tweet by mocking the maternal figure of the X user above, who called him out and accused him of collecting a lady number on transit.

He tweeted; “Serah Ibrahim, you wish it was your number. That is YETUNDE from the University of LINCOLN, and their event in Nigeria happened on the 25th of May, which I couldn’t host because of my show in Abuja. She is such a beautiful lady. She is also a friend of my friend, Dr Wisdom, the record label owner that signed Nasboi. Mo ju iyalaya e lo, Serah.”
