Senator Ahmed Markarfi has appealed to members of the People’s Democratic party(PDP) to pray for President Buhari to remain alive and healthy so that he can witness his removal by the party in the upcoming 2019 elections.

Markarfi made the plea while giving a speech at the party non-elective convention in Abuja on Saturday. He said;

“We will continue to pray for the president. God will keep him alive till 2019 so he would witness his removal from power because Nigerians are already tired of this change.

We are not perfect and we would always learn from our mistake. We know Nigerians are missing us and we would always carry them along when we return in 2019.”

Markarfi said that the party has learnt from its mistake and is ready to make it up to Nigerians in 2019.
