Internet users and admirers of Nigerian artist Oladips have been left confused as news surfaced hours ago that he is alive.
GISTLOVER recalls that rapper Oladips’ management stated on Wednesday via his Instagram page that the rapper died on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Following the sad news, Oladips’ colleague and close acquaintance, Qdot, denied the death allegations on Thursday, insisting that the rapper is still alive.
Sharing a picture of Oladips on his Instagram page, Qdot wrote, “@oladipsoflife, my gee is alive.”
His allegation garnered varied reactions, with many questioning the veracity of the information, while others speculated that Oladips may have “faked” his death to promote his album, ‘Superhero Adugbo,’ which was published just hours earlier.
Even actress Bukunmi Oluwashina deleted a tribute to him from her Instagram account.
