Controversial Nigerian artist, Portable, made headlines once more after returning from a successful European tour with a wonderful gesture of making money rain.
The artist, who had just returned from a tour of the United States, chose to give back to the community in his trademark style, showering bundles of dollars and naira notes on a throng in an unidentified location.
In September, Portable began on a tour of the United States, which drew major notice from prominent Nigerian news sites.
The tour, which he was accompanied on by one of his wives, Ewatomi Omobewaji, was noted by energetic performances, enthusiastic crowds, and ecstatic receptions.
Portable chose to share his newfound fortune with his supporters and well-wishers just a few days after his return to Nigeria.
In a video that has since gone viral, he is seen unbinding bundles of dollars and naira notes, which he generously tossed into the cheering crowd that had gathered to receive the money.
The act of giving away cash in such a lavish and unrestrained manner has sparked a range of reactions among many viewers online.
