Raye, a corps member in Lagos, has spoken out against MTN’s recent increase in data prices.
The hike has drawn significant criticism from subscribers, especially given the current economic challenges in the country.
Raye has encouraged MTN users to file complaints with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
She decided to stop using her MTN Wi-Fi due to the price rise and aims to advocate for youth empowerment.
“I’m going to lend my voice to empower us as a youth. Aside from the rant, I’ve been bombarding the right department that are handling this with a lot of emails” she stated.
Addressing the negative feedback, she highlighted her background as a vlogger and content creator, challenging those who do not support the push for change.
“I use to be a normal girl that was just doing content. I can’t turn my back on what I actually love.If you geniuely care for me, you will not bash me and start pushing me to my doom”, She added.
