A video of a couple being married in the country’s northern area has sent tongues wagging owing to their demeanor during the ceremony.
A wedding guest released a video on TikTok under the name @Muhammadabdullah5685, showing the husband and bride seated far apart at their wedding celebration.
They refused to look at themselves.
The husband had a furious expression on his face, while the bride appeared frightened and leaned toward someone who placed a soothing hand on her shoulder.
The pair smiled even when people showered them with 10 and 20 naira notes.
Later, the bride is spotted pouting as she dances without her groom on the dance floor.
