American rapper Sean Love Combs, widely recognized as Diddy, will stay in custody as he awaits his trial after a federal judge in New York rejected his request for $50 million bail on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
The judge decided to keep the artist in custody following prosecutors‘ claims that he poses a “serious flight risk.”
The 54-year-old music mogul was taken into custody on Monday night due to allegations of racketeering conspiracy and s+x tr@fficking, among other charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all accusations.
According to CNN, Combs plans to appeal the ruling to US District Court Judge Andrew Carter on Wednesday afternoon. If the appeal is unsuccessful, he will be returned to the detention center.
In other news, Renowned singer Rihanna has expressed her admiration for the well-known Nigerian music video director, Dammy Twitch.
The artist revealed that she is an avid supporter of Twitch’s work.
Music executive Bizzle Osikoya posted a video of Rihanna’s encounter with Dammy Twitch at a recent event on his X account on Tuesday.
He noted that Rihanna declared herself to be Twitch’s most devoted fan and also expressed interest in listening to the music of emerging Nigerian artist ShineTTW.
He wrote,“Yoooo @rihanna just said she is @DammyTwitch biggest fan. And she told @shinettw_ she wants to hear his music.”
In the meantime, Dammy Twitch has enjoyed his interaction with Rihanna.
