Court Remands Ex-DMW Artist, Lil Frosh In Prison.
The Nigerian up and coming artiste, Sanni Wasiu, widely known as Lilfrosh has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Okeoghene Iyomaterie.
The Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun of the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Yaba had given the order on Tuesday ordered.
Lil frosh pleaded not guilty when arraigned on one count of assault.
The musician had no counsel to represent him in court.
Following his plea, Magistrate Olatunbosun ordered his remand in the correctional facility and adjourned the matter till March 9, 2021.
Gistlover recalls that the artiste was called out after he was accused of beating his girlfriend, Iyomaterie, who is a model and dancer.
Pictures of the lady emerged online with various degrees of bruises on her hands and face.
Following the allegations, Davido’s DMW under which he was signed to, terminated his contract, adding that the brand was in no way in support of domestic violence.
The 18-year-old Lilfrosh was invited by the policemen at the Federal Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Alagbon, on Thursday, February 4, 2021, for interrogation.
The victim, who noted that she had been in a relationship with the musician since January 2020, alleged that anytime they disagreed, it had always resulted in violence.
