Ganiyu Oyedepo, a well-known figure in Lagos and a leader in the NURTW, commonly called Kokozaria, has been sentenced to prison for allegedly attacking Nollywood actor Ade Adele, also known as Lawori.

The controversial personality was accused of working with his associates to hurt Lawori at a party in Idimu, Lagos, on June 25.

According to court papers shared online, one of Kokozaria’s boys attacked Lawori by hitting him with a bottle and stabbing him with the shards.

The report stated that Kokozaria was charged with four counts: assault causing injury, conspiracy to commit a felony by recruiting others to harm someone, and a willful breach of peace.

After his arrest became a hot topic online, Kokozaria shared a video on his social media, showing him dancing with one of his daughters.

In another video, some craftsmen were heard cheering for him and praying, claiming that his foes would attempt to catch him but would fail.

However, according to reports reaching GistLover from an unnamed source that Kokozaria is currently outside Nigeria, having fled to the United States shortly before the court’s decision to jail him.

The source mentioned that Kokozaria is now being targeted because he is no longer working for MC Oluomo.

GistLover recall reporting when Lawori posted a video saying Kokozaria sent his guys to beat him at a party in Lagos.
