A Covenant Polytechnic student in Aba has set social media abuzz after sharing a humorous interaction with her lecturer. The student, known as @divinejhay2 on TikTok, has a habit of using affectionate nicknames when addressing her lecturer.
In a now-viral video, she entered the classroom and greeted him casually with, “Hey Baby.” Rather than reacting with surprise or disapproval, the lecturer playfully responded, “My love, I didn’t know you would come today.”
The lighthearted conversation continued as she complimented his looks, calling him handsome. In response, the lecturer jokingly said, “I am blushing,” adding to the cheerful mood in the class.
The clip has since gained widespread attention, with many online users praising the lecturer’s friendly and approachable nature.
