COVID-19: Italy, US, Spain, And France Tops The Chat As Death Toll Hits 103,000 Globaly

New cases of the novel coronavirus that emerged in the central Chinese city of Wuhan in late December are being reported daily around the world.

More than 103,000 people have died from COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, while some 1.7 million infections have been confirmed in at least 185 countries and territories. More than 382,000 people have recovered to date.

Here are the countries that have so far confirmed coronavirus cases:

United States – 501,560 cases, 18,777 deaths

Spain – 161,852 cases, 16,353 deaths

Italy – 147,577 cases, 18,849 deaths

France – 125,931 cases, 13,215 deaths

Germany – 122,171 cases, 2,736 deaths

China – 81,953 cases, 3,339 deaths
