Cubana Chief Priest has faced criticism after showcasing the cows he purchased for a friend’s mother’s funeral, while failing to assist Akpi, also known as Speed Darlington, in securing his release from prison.
It is important to note that Chief Priest had previously pledged to help free Akpi amidst his conflict with Burna Boy. On Sunday, he stated:
“Tomorrow we are coming for you, Akpi Nwamama. Monday is almost here. Let’s now showcase power.”
Despite this commitment, the businessman has not yet been able to deliver on his promise to aid Akpi’s release. This led some fans to remind him of his unfulfilled vow after he posted a video featuring the cows intended for his friend’s mother’s funeral.
Without providing additional information about his friend’s mother, Cubana Chief Priest captioned the video:
“Spent My Whole Day At Ukpor With My Visionary Leader Zenco In Preparation Of The Funeral Rites Of His Beloved Mother. As Usual, I Did Not Come Alone I Came With 47 Life Cows To Mark The 47 Years He Spent On Earth With Mama. Take Heart Oga Zemco On Friday We Shut Ukpor Anambra State Down For @dgeneralbitters 🍃.”
