In other news, The ongoing feud between Nollywood stars Laide Bakare and Eniola Badmus took a new turn following their confrontation at a recent movie premiere.
In a video making the rounds online, Laide Bakare openly criticized Eniola Badmus, accusing her of undergoing cosmetic surgery to enhance her curves and labeling the results as “artificial.”
Laide further alleged that Eniola instructed a cameraman not to capture them in the same frame and even denied their friendship in public.
Expressing her disappointment, Laide stated, “I played a role in helping her grow in the film industry, and this is how she treats me.” She went on to accuse Eniola of only surrounding herself with wealthy individuals and relying on their financial generosity.
The actress also took shots at Eniola’s online persona, claiming she heavily edits her pictures and projects a lifestyle that doesn’t reflect reality. “Her body isn’t real, and her appearance without filters is unpleasant,” Laide said, while claiming she is more beautiful in comparison
She said: “To make the matter clear to everyone, I want to say exactly what happened between me and Eniola Badmus. It was Eniola who came to where I was seated because I didn’t even know where she was. I feel so pained that someone that I helped to grow as an actress is treating me this way”.
“I have always known Eniola to beg from rich people, and she only likes to associate herself with successful people. I’m someone who doesn’t like too much publicity on social media, and I hate it when people try to put things about me online for the wrong reasons. I was very late on arrival to the party, and my only aim of attending the movie premiere was to honour Eniola Ajao. Eniola kept coming to where I was seated, and she was telling the cameraman not to record me with her in the same video, and she denied me as her friend publicly”.
“Despite the way she tried to bully me, I didn’t respond to her, even when she came into my DM to call me an animal. You are living a fake life, you always edit your pictures on social media. Your backside is fake, your nakedness is horrible and I’m much prettier than you.”
