Prominent Nigerian businessman Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has made startling accusations against Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, alleging that the musician poses a threat to his life and his family’s safety.
The nightlife mogul took to Instagram on Friday, January 17, to share his concerns, claiming that Burna Boy has been monitoring his movements. The allegations were triggered by a video Burna shared online, which showed the singer driving through Chiefpriest’s affluent Ikoyi neighborhood in Lagos.
Chiefpriest interpreted the act as a deliberate attempt to intimidate him, accusing Burna Boy of plotting sinister actions. He called the singer out, describing the behavior as “childish” and issuing a warning to stay away from his family.
In his Instagram post, Chiefpriest declared, “This na my neighborhood for ikoyi, you drive pass my crib recording with eye symbol, you are watching me to shoot me Abi or abduct my family, this is childish.
“Dog wey dey bite no dey bark. I be Aba boy; we fight to finish. All your men shall fall that day if you cross my lane. Make sure nothing happens to my family.
Na ikoyi be this here no be Ikate @nigeriapolice force already have the intel so I’m ready”
The socialite also revealed that he has reported the matter to law enforcement, informing the Nigeria Police Force of what he perceives as a threat. The escalating feud between Chiefpriest and Burna Boy continues to dominate headlines, adding another layer of drama to their ongoing rivalry.
