Celebrity barman Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has come under fire for failing to deliver on his public promise to secure the release of incarcerated rapper Speed Darlington.
Gistlover previously reported rising tensions between Chiefpriest and music star Burna Boy, who recently offered unexpected public support to Chiefpriest’s alleged brother and baby mama. In a bid to escalate the feud, Chiefpriest vowed to leverage his influence to free Speed Darlington, declaring that no one, not even Burna Boy, could obstruct his efforts.
However, as time passed and Darlington remained in custody, Chiefpriest’s bold claims began to draw skepticism and criticism.
Adding to the controversy, Chiefpriest recently attended a grand burial ceremony in Anambra, honoring the late mother of prominent Nigerian entrepreneur Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa, also known as Zenco. While the event was a display of opulence, attended by celebrities and elites, an unexpected moment occurred when an attendee publicly called out Chiefpriest, reminding him of his unfulfilled promise to aid Darlington.
The incident has sparked heated debates online, with many questioning Chiefpriest’s commitment to his word and the authenticity of his claims.
