Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, widely known as Dammy Krane, has spoken out about the persistent electricity crisis in Nigeria following a decline in power supply.

In a video shared on his Instagram reel, the artist claimed that Nigerians should not expect a stable power supply anytime soon. He suggested that two influential individuals were responsible for the ongoing electricity issues in the country.

Dammy Krane specifically mentioned “Osakpolo’s father,” alleging that this person is in charge of electricity distribution in Nigeria. He also claimed that this individual shares a close relationship with another key figure involved in fuel production.

During the video, the singer laughed while addressing the issue, implying that Nigerians should not expect improvements in the situation. He sarcastically told his followers to “keep playing” as though the matter was beyond their control.

Many of his fans speculated that “Osakpolo” was a reference to fellow artist Davido, a name frequently used to tease the “Awuke” crooner. They also suspected that the fuel producer Dammy Krane mentioned was billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, as a video recently surfaced online showing Davido’s father in conversation with Dangote.

Davido’s father, who launched an electricity plant last year, was seen in the clip telling Dangote that he was older than him. This further fueled fans’ belief that Dammy Krane was indirectly pointing fingers at these influential figures.

Dammy Krane has had a longstanding feud with Davido, repeatedly calling him out on social media. Despite attempts by several celebrities to intervene, the conflict remains unresolved.
