Dammy Krane, a controversial figure in Nigeria’s music scene, has ignited strong reactions online after his petition to the Inspector-General of Police against Davido went viral.
The petition focuses on five main concerns, one of which is the reopening of the case regarding Tagbo’s death. Dammy Krane alleges that he has faced death threats from a friend of Davido.
Additionally, he is asking the IG to assist in lifting the bans on his bank accounts, which are hindering his access to money.
The singer called on the IG to help him get Davido to pay the money he owes for the song “Pere.”
He pointed out that Davido had promised him $500,000, but after the song’s release, he did not pay.
Despite his allegations, Dammy Krane has not taken back some of the damaging remarks he made about Davido, which contributed to his arrest.
He filed his petition a few days after being released from the Police Force Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja.
