Daniel Regha, a well-known Nigerian social media commentator, has once again shared his thoughts.
He posted on his official Twitter account about Wizkid’s new album, Morayo, which many have been eagerly waiting for.
Released on Friday, November 22, the album has been well-received by fans and music enthusiasts. As expected, Regha provided his review for everyone to see.
Daniel rated the project a 3.5 out of 10, stating it focused more on quantity than quality.
He mentioned there were repetitive sounds and a shortage of creativity in collaborations.
Regha wrote:
“Morayo” by Wizkid is a quantity over quality album, literally two songs divided into subparts. It might be a commercial success due to hype, but unf@rtunately it’s n@t the album of the year people hope it will be. A lot of songs sound repetitive, with lyrics showing that it was produced with just Tiktok in mind as there’s n@ spark, the track “Bend” is proves this.”
