Social media influencer Daniel Regha has openly criticized individuals who persist in supporting the music of Nigerian artist Naira Marley, in light of recent abuse allegations made against him.

The issue arose when former Marlian Records artist, Lil Smart, accused Naira Marley and fellow musician Zinoleesky of assault and kidnapping.

Lil Smart took to social media to share his allegations, claiming that the two had both abducted and physically assaulted him.

In response to the situation, Regha took to his verified account on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, voicing his disappointment regarding the ongoing support for Naira Marley’s music.

He wrote;

“Naira Marley still having an audience, or listening ears after all he’s been accused of, goes to show our level of unseriousness as a people. In all this, I blame the Nigeria Police.”
