Dauda Abdulfatai, a Nigerian from Kogi state, has begun a 200-hour ironing marathon with the goal of breaking Gareth Sander’s 100-hour Guinness World Record.
Dauda started the search on Wednesday morning at Off Ajaokuta Road, Ganaja Village, Lokoja, Kogi State, after obtaining a good answer from Guinness World Records via letter.
He was said to have completed 80 hours of the marathon’s scheduled 200 hours.
His ambition is to break Gareth Sander of the United Kingdom’s current record of 100 hours.
Gareth Sanders, 28, a cleaning company manager, set the Guinness record for non-stop ironing in 2015 after ironing approximately 2,000 items and continuing non-stop for about 100 hours.
