Davido Announces White Wedding Date with Chioma

Davido, a Grammy-nominated singer, has officially announced the date for his much-anticipated white wedding to Chioma.

The couple had a glamorous traditional wedding on June 25, 2024, at Eko Hotels in Lagos. In a recent interview, Davido disclosed that the white wedding is scheduled for August 2025 in Miami, USA. “I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August,” he stated.

He also shared insights about their relationship, highlighting its visibility and the difficulties they have faced, including the tragic death of their son, Ifeanyi.

“Our relationship was in the public eye and a lot of things have happened, apart from us loosing our child” he added.

In other news… Renowned artist Davido shared insights on his lack of a personal relationship with fellow musicians WizKid and Burna Boy. He discussed this during an interview with Breakfast Club.

When asked about the dynamics among the big three, Davido confirmed that he no longer has a personal connection with WizKid and Burna Boy.

He mentioned that while they were once closer, circumstances have shifted, and now there are many more artists involved beyond just the well-known trio.

“I don’t have personal relationship with them. I did at some point in time but, I feel that the culture is so big; the conversation is bigger than the big three. There are so many artists like Rena, Ayra Starr. I feel like there’s so much artist to make this about us. And the three of us known that it is bigger than us.”
