Newlywed Nigerian musician, Davido has denied attempting to snatch their baby, Imade, from her mother, Sophia Momodu, during a joint custody battle.
This followed the singer’s shared custody request, which prompted a counter-affidavit from his baby mama, who wrote and submitted a 100-paragraph reasons for why their child is best off in her care.
Davido, on the other hand, received a barrage of allegations from social media users accusing him of abusing his power to snatch Imade while concealing in ‘joint custody.’
Clarifying his stance on custody, the musician restated his desire for ‘joint custody’, contradicting expectations that he would seek complete custody of the kid.
“All I asked for was ‘joint custody’ but cus it’s davido yall wanna act like yall can’t read! SMH I’m off this … yall be blessed and I pray this never happens to you,” he wrote.
