Davido goes digital as he requests Bitcoin as a wedding gift

At Davido’s wedding, a video captured the moment when the singer asked guests for Bitcoin as a wedding gift instead of cash.

During the wedding, the MC, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, mentioned that they accept pounds, euros, and dollars.

Davido then took the microphone and announced that he also welcomes Bitcoin transfers as wedding presents.

He emphasized that he prefers Bitcoin over promises of cash to be sent later, and shared that his Bitcoin wallet is open for transfers.

“I’m accepting Bitcoin as a gift if you can’t spray naira and I no want OBO I go give you tomorrow, I no want that one,” he said.
