Nigerian artist Chike has finally released the much awaited official video for his chart-topping single ‘Egwu,’ which features the late singer Mohbad.
Chike took to Instagram on Wednesday for the grand reveal and scribbled an emotional message to accompany it.
“It was difficult, but I am honored to celebrate music and my friend @iammohbad with this visual. #Egwu”.

Initially released in 2023, shortly after Mohbad’s terrible death, “Egwu” has vivid graphics that begin with a kaleidoscope of varied dancers dancing to enticing tunes.
Throughout the film, emotive images of Mohbad takes center stage, acting as a heartfelt memorial that Chike flawlessly interweaves.
The “Egwu” visuals, directed by the genius Pink, are an memorial to Chike’s artistic skill and a touching tribute to his late colleague.
