David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has spoken out about his connection with his colleague, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy.
He claimed that they used to be extremely good friends, but that they no longer communicate like they used to.
Davido, who was interviewed by Ebro on the Morning Show on Hot 97FM, New York, United States, however, said that he and Burna are on good terms.
The DMW boss revealed that the ‘Last Last’ crooner still checks up on him from time to time, especially during and after his mourning period.
Speaking on unity among Afrobeats artistes, OBO said; “Afrobeats [artists] we are in unity. I spoke to Burna [Boy]. He called me. He calls me as well but we’ve not really spoken like that.”
On whether he plans to resolve his issues with the self-acclaimed African Giant, Davido said;“I think I definitely would. He [Burna Boy] called me. Wiz [Kid] called me. And funny enough, me and Burna used to be mad close. Very very close.”
