Afrobeats icon Davido has stirred massive excitement online after offering fans a first listen to two unreleased tracks from his forthcoming fifth studio album, 5ive.
The singer shared the snippets via an Instagram Reel on March 26, 2025, during a livestream session hosted by Cruel Santino on Subaru World Stream — a growing hub for Nigerian artists to engage with fans.
In the short clip, Davido is seen vibing to the new sounds, giving followers a glimpse of what’s coming. The first track showcased his signature rhythm with a vibrant beat, while the second leaned into an energetic, dance-driven vibe, sparking conversations across social media.
Though the full songs remain unreleased, the brief previews hint at a diverse blend of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and other global influences — all hallmarks of Davido’s evolving sound.
5ive is set to drop on April 18, 2025, and already boasts star-studded collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, Victony, and Omah Lay, along with top-tier producers including Shizzi and Tempoe.
