Nigerian Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, known as Davido, is planning to grow his business by launching a brand of electric bikes.
Spiro, a leading African electric vehicle company, revealed their partnership with Davido on January 27.
This careful partnership aims to offer Africans sustainable transport by utilizing one of the continent’s key cultural symbols.
Kaushik Burman, CEO of Spiro, in a brief media chat, mentioned that: “Davido represents the best of African excellence – he’s bold, innovative, and beloved across the world. He’s the perfect ambassador for Spiro as we deliver on our mission of sustainable transportation for all.”
Celebrating online, the Awuke hitmaker claimed he is creating wealth that will last for generations.
Davido is well-known for his numerous collaborations with top brands in the country and beyond. GistLover reported earlier that the twin father has demonstrated his value to businesses by developing a loyal fanbase and securing attractive endorsement deals.
In June 2024, Davido and his wife were presented with a GAC M8 2024 Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) by CIG, a GAC Motors representative in Nigeria. This led to a partnership where Davido will promote GAC Motors’ brand and products.
