Super Eagles player Victor Boniface is trending online because of news about his possible salary if he joins Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia during the January transfer window.
If the transfer is completed, Boniface would be the highest-paid Super Eagles player, making €15 million (approximately ₦25 billion) a year, exceeding Victor Osimhen’s reported €12.8 million salary at Napoli for the 2022/23 season.
It has been reported that Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Al-Nassr are discussing Boniface’s transfer.
A few weeks ago, Tunde Ednut, an Instagram blogger, received five cows from Boniface for his birthday and later shared details about the footballer’s possible salary on his account.
“Total agreement with Bayer 04 Leverkusen now has been reached about a final transfer fee of more than €60m. Verbal agreement was done. €15m net per season as revealed today. 24 y/o striker has already passed his medical with Al-Nassr. Boniface would become the first Nigerian to play alongside C. Ronaldo,” he wrote in a caption.
