Chief Dr. Deji Adeleke, the father of renowned Nigerian musician Davido, has disclosed the considerable challenges he encountered while developing his $2 billion power plant.
The prominent Nigerian billionaire, recognized for his substantial investments in the country’s business and educational sectors, shared these difficulties during a recent address at a conference in Maryland, USA.
Adeleke, who holds the positions of President of Adeleke University and CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited, indicated that a specific government official sought to undermine the entire initiative.
While he chose not to identify the official, he stressed that the individual’s actions were intended to prevent the successful completion of the power plant.
He expressed profound appreciation to God for intervening and facilitating the project’s success in spite of these obstacles.
He noted that divine intervention played a crucial role in surmounting these seemingly overwhelming challenges.
