Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has put an end to the swirling rumors linking her romantically to Fuji music legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate.
During an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Amusa dismissed the speculation, emphasizing that their bond is not romantic but rather built on deep mutual respect and unwavering support.
She clarified that people often assume a man and a woman are involved in a romantic relationship simply because they share a close connection. However, in her case with K1, she views him as more than just a friend—he has been a mentor, a father figure, and a guiding force in her life.
The actress expressed gratitude for his steadfast support, revealing that during difficult times in her career, he provided encouragement and strength when she needed it most. His influence, she said, helped her push past obstacles and rise above limitations.
Amusa believes that a person like K1, who has stood by her through thick and thin, deserves to be cherished—no matter how much outsiders try to misinterpret their relationship.
This comes after her heated social media reaction in November 2024, where she firmly shut down ongoing speculations regarding the identity of her newborn’s father.
What initially began as celebratory messages for the actress soon spiraled into a wave of online gossip, fueled by controversial blogger Auto Bola. The relentless blogger continuously pressed Amusa to reveal her child’s paternity, turning a moment of joy into a storm of public scrutiny.
In her pursuit of a scandal, Auto Bola even dragged K1 De Ultimate into the mix, insinuating that he was the father of Amusa’s child. However, Amusa has now put these rumors to rest, making it clear that their relationship is purely platonic and deeply rooted in respect.
