Famous singer D’banj recently took public transport in Lagos.

After launching his new project, ‘The Entertainer,’ he surprised commuters as he board the bus and train, mixing in with everyone.

Marking the first anniversary of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line, D’banj’s trip reflected the city’s advancing infrastructure and his commitment to connecting with fans in a different way.

As he made his way from the Leventis bus stop to the Marina train station and on to the National Theatre station, he was welcomed with enthusiasm and respect from other travellers.

In a lovely act of kindness, D’banj decided to pay for the rides of his fellow passengers by loading their Cowry Cards with the fare amount.

A clip featured him dancing with an elderly woman while the other pssengers sang a song from his new album.

“@iamdbanj entertained Lagos commuters today, Wednesday inside BRT Buses at Marina and #LagosBlueLineRail on the Marina – Mile 2 routes.

He did a lot of giveaway and kept everyone gingered with them with music from his new album, The Entertainer D’Sequel.

He was warmly received by officials of @lamataonline and the surprised commuters who tried to get pictures and videos with him.”
